One of the Blogs I read is Peston's Picks. The BBC's business editor. I don't watch the news on TV and subscribe to his blog via RSS so had no idea what he looked like until I clicked through on to his page today to make this link.
Much younger than I thought. I hope he doesn't take that the wrong way. It's just that his blogging voice has gravitas and wisdom and so I must have taken my subconscious visual clues from that.
Leading into what is going to be my recommendation to read his pdf on the New Capitalism with thoughts on what he looks like does I realise leave me paddling round in the shallow end of pond life but that's not his fault.
Get a cup of tea and read it. A good distillation of what has happened and what's still to be worked through.
