I live a 20 minute train journey from central London ( well that's what the timetable/local estate agents state, my watch must keep to a different time). I work in London on the most expensive square of the Monopoly board which would explain why, when buying a sandwich and coffee instead of putting change back into your purse from a fiver, you are scrambling round in the lining of it for a bit more to hand over.
My things are :
Books , although I resent how much space they need, even after numerous charity shops culls , so I am currently eyeing up some with a view to annexing them to the shed.
Magazines. So many I could build a back copy extension to house my books in.
Friends, and perhaps to ensure that word remains ( and in the plural would be good ) I ought to make sure you know that the opinions expressed in this Blog are entirely those of the author and do not necessarily represent the views of any of her friends although they may have had the bad luck to have to listen to them. Glass of wine anyone?
Walking and cycling. Preferably surrounded by green but urban will do.
Food heaven is a big white plate of cheese, tomatoes, bread and olive oil. If cooking is involved, then Indian and then the one at the end of my road.
The Isle of Wight for which I have an inexplicable and unrequited passion.
This Blog was originally going to be titled 'one woman went to ...' as in mow/meadow/bottleofpop/dogspot but somehow that's not what I typed in. And now I have no more idea of how that was relevant either.
So went is gone and goes stays. And that just about says everything you need to know about what this Blog will be like.
